Ethos

The dual heart of Coull Architecture is the focus on the service we provide and the quality of the designs we produce.

As service providers, we seek to understand the needs of the client and the people impacted by any project we are involved in, and as designers we seek to bring our skills and knowledge to provide responsive and engaging proposals.

At the centre of the design and development of a project the Architect has a responsibility to the environment, the local context and built environment, the neighbours and surrounding nature, to the users, to the team and to the client.

Coull Architecture make it their aim to understand the needs and aspirations of the client and apply that to the conditions and our analysis of the site to provide a responsive, responsible and robust approach to each project.

Our designs start with the analysis of the site, the context and the local environment and these are fed into the project brief as they continue to influence the design throughout the development of the project.

The success of the project is dependent on the team. Identifying the necessary members for a strong collaborative team and maintaining that involvement is an important part of a successful project.

Experience

Coull Architecture have experience in a wide range of project types and sizes, seeking out the challenge and opportunity each time.

With a focus in residential, healthcare and community projects of all scales Coull Architecture have completed a number of new build and refurbishment projects across London.

Coull Architecture designed and built Deep Space is Ashby Mews in close collaboration with the clients. The building was featured on an episode of Building the Dream which can be accessed through All4 (series 6, episode 1).

We have also recently completed a feasibility study to drive funding for a large community and education outreach centre in Nigeria for The Good Samaritan Foundation charity and are looking forward to taking that project forward.
